From your phone or tablet, change the machine's cleaning pattern (Auto or Spot); select a suction power or water flow level (Low, Mid, Max); remotely start, stop, or pause; send it back to its base station; schedule cleanings; view notifications; track cleaning history; and troubleshoot errors.

A built-in lithium-ion battery promises up to 100 minutes of run time (on hard floors in low mode), and recharges in four to five hours. The SpinWave does not offer home mapping or voice assistant support.

The hoover easily collects hair, dust, and crumbs from low-pile carpets, rugs, or hard floors. In Auto mode, it cleans in straight lines and automatically returns to its dock when the battery runs low, while the Spin cycle covers a more isolated mess, covering a 40-by-40-inch area for five minutes.

For best results, run the SpinWave as a vacuum first, then send it out for mopping (after which you can remove the pads and toss them in the washing machine before its next run). You'll need to perform regular maintenance like emptying and washing the dustbin every few sessions and periodically cleaning the brush roll and caster wheel.
